The Center for Mind Research and Diagnostics is dedicated to the discovery and advancement of clinical solutions for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental illness and other brain disorders. Our endeavor is to evolve strategies to offer diagnostic and therapeutic facilities in the field of Mental Health and Neurosciences utilizing the advances in latest technology and research.
Care and Cure
Establish state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic facilities in neurological disorders with expert neurologists aiming to give excellent, ethical care to every patient by working with the diagnostic, rehabilitative, and social services to offer patients a comprehensive continuum of neurological care.
Prevention
To diagnose disease earlier than we do today, it is necessary to identify warning signs before the first symptoms appear. The emphasis on early detection would go a long way to dealing with the large numbers as well as to mitigate avoidable suffering and a financial burden. Prevention Warning signs may lead to earlier diagnosis and considerable reduction of risk.
Clinical Research
Apart from the patient care and service, clinical research programmes and randomized trials contribute increasingly to improved delivery of care and highest standards of work ethics. Diverse and multidisciplinary Neuroscience research supported by CMRD shall extend across a range of basic scientific research, with an aim to uncover the fundamentals of brain function and activity, to clinical and translational projects with an objective to define, treat and prevent brain-related disorders and to further the understanding of neural and behavioural disorders. Researchers working away from the clinical environment have fewer opportunities to connect their work with the real issues facing people with mental illness. The immediacy of hospital and clinic settings is an important stimulus that helps us turn clinical observations into hypotheses and ultimately new treatments. By adopting this broad bio psychosocial approach, without a bias towards any one discipline of medicine, neuroscience or the arts, CMRD is ideally placed to make use of any and all available modalities to develop new treatments.
Communication & Education
With enduring value and a mission for concern for people CMRD would be dedicated to providing education, outreach to parents, patients, educators, and the community. We also aim to offer interdisciplinary training & awareness through workshops, seminars, conferences, drives for people spanning through childhood to old age and across all segments.
